Terms of Service & Refund Policy
Last updated September 25, 2026
Draft pending legal review. [Have a qualified attorney review these terms, including consumer-protection, healthcare-advertising and cross-border requirements in the U.S. and Mexico, before launch.]
1. About these terms
These terms apply to this website and to services provided by Family-First Treatment Navigation. By using the website or booking a service, you agree to them. Paid services are also governed by a signed client agreement; if the two conflict, the client agreement controls.
2. Our services
We provide education, treatment navigation, intervention planning and coordination. We are not a medical provider, treatment facility, emergency service or law firm. Nothing we provide is a medical diagnosis, treatment, level-of-care determination, or legal advice, and using our services does not create a clinician–patient relationship. Clinical decisions must be made by qualified professionals and the receiving provider.
3. No guarantees
We cannot guarantee that any facility will admit your loved one, that treatment will produce a particular outcome, that an intervention will succeed, or that a family member will agree to or cooperate with treatment. Treatment facilities and other providers are independent third parties; we are not responsible for their services, decisions or care.
4. Fees and payment
- Our current fees are published on our Services & Pricing page.
- The Family Consultation is paid when you book. Other services are invoiced after you sign a client agreement.
- Fees pay for our time and expertise. They are not contingent on admission, and we accept no compensation from treatment facilities.
- If you begin Personalized Treatment Navigation within 30 days of a Family Consultation, the consultation fee is credited toward it.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- Introductory call (free): please cancel or reschedule if you can’t attend.
- Family Consultation: cancel at least 24 hours before your session for a full refund, or reschedule once at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours and missed sessions are not refundable. If we need to cancel, you may choose a full refund or a new time.
- Personalized Treatment Navigation: fees for work not yet begun are fully refundable. Once work has begun, any refund is prorated according to the work completed, as set out in your agreement. After your shortlist and written comparison have been delivered, fees are not refundable.
- Family Intervention & Coordination: deposit, cancellation and refund terms are set out in your individual quote and agreement.
- Refunds are never based on a facility’s admission decision or on your loved one’s choices, because our fees pay for our work rather than an outcome.
To request a cancellation or refund, email info@bajarehabfamilies.com.
6. Your responsibilities
Please give us accurate information, obtain any authorizations needed to share another person’s information with us, and remember that decisions about treatment remain yours and your loved one’s. If anyone may be in immediate danger, call 911 rather than contacting us.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Third-party services
We use third-party providers for scheduling (Cal.com), payments (Stripe), video meetings (Zoom) and e-signatures (DocuSign). They are listed, with everyone else who handles your information, in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply when you use them.
9. Liability and disputes
[Limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute-resolution provisions to be drafted by counsel.]
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State / country whose law governs the agreement].
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post changes on this page. Questions: info@bajarehabfamilies.com.
