How it works
How treatment navigation works
A clear, step-by-step process, from a first confidential conversation to coordinated next steps toward care.
1. A free introductory call
A confidential 15-minute conversation about your situation in general terms. We’ll explain how we work and what we charge, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help. If another resource is a better fit, such as emergency services or a local clinician, we’ll say so.
You receive: a clear recommendation for your next step, with no obligation.
2. A paid family consultation
A private 60–90-minute video session with the family members you choose. We talk through what’s happening, your concerns, possible treatment settings and approaches, how treatment works in the United States and Mexico, and practical next steps. A consultation is education and guidance, not a medical diagnosis or emergency assessment.
You receive: a brief written summary or action plan within 2 business days.
3. Personalized recommendations
With Personalized Treatment Navigation, we go deeper. With your written authorization, we review relevant information and clarify practical requirements: the level of care recommended by qualified clinicians, medical and psychiatric needs, location, language, budget, insurance and how involved your family wants to be. Then we research programs within our verified network and, where necessary, other appropriate providers, and we contact them to confirm availability and admission criteria.
You receive: a shortlist of about two or three suitable options, when available, and a written comparison of each program’s capabilities, costs, limitations and admission requirements, including the questions you should confirm directly with each facility.
4. Coordinating next steps
We help coordinate admission inquiries, communicate with facilities on your behalf, and support your family while you decide. The decision is always yours. Admission decisions are made by each facility, and our fees don’t depend on the outcome.
How we evaluate programs
For every program we consider, we look for verified, dated information on:
- Licensing and accreditation, and when we last verified them
- Medical and psychiatric capabilities, including detox and dual-diagnosis care
- Clinical staffing and treatment approaches
- Admission and exclusion criteria
- Typical program length, approximate costs and insurance acceptance
- Consent, discharge and aftercare practices
- Any professional affiliations or potential conflicts of interest, including our own
Your information
Our website forms don’t ask for medical details. If we work together and more detailed information is genuinely needed, we collect it through a secure process, with a privacy notice and your written authorization, and we share it with a facility only with your permission.
